....or should I say "o-BLAH-dee".....
Man! I never realized that when I started this blog that it would become such a burden to try and come up with things to write about. Turns out, Mr. Bo and I have been leading a pretty hum-drum life lately filled with long days, too much routine, and too many weekend nights spent at home. So instead of boring you with every silly detail of our day to day doings, I'll just give a quick run down of life at the Bo residence as of late.
Well first of all, I haven't written any "This Week in Entertainment" entries lately because all the movies we have watched recently have sucked! Probably the last good movie we saw was "127 Hours" starring the fab James Franco. I really liked this flick. It had potential to be really boring based on the story line, but managed to keep me thoroughly entertained. In case you've been living on the Moon and haven't heard of this movie, it's the true story of a young man who gets lodged in a crevasse of a mountain when his arm is pinned by a rock for 127 hours. He survives after getting himself free by cutting off his arm.
In the past few months I have managed to finish two pretty good books. I finally got around to reading The Girl Who Played With Fire, the second book in The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo series. I didn't like it as much as the first, but it was still really good. I also read Catching Fire, the second book in the Hunger Games series. I liked this book about as much as the first, and while neither has the same thrill and suspense as the Tattoo books, they are a great, and quick read. Just today I began reading Water for Elephants. I have been wanting to read it for awhile, and since the movie was just released I decided I should hurry up before it makes it to NetFlix.
Mr. Bo has been super busy with baseball lately, and I feel like I never see him anymore! There is a light at the end of the tunnel however, because the season ends this week. I will have a husband again, until June when he begins coaching his summer team. We have both been busy working during the day too, and while I will be working less hours this summer, Mr. Bo will be teaching summer school classes....only for a month though, and then some much needed time off.
I have really been enjoying the wonderful weather, and try to spend as much time outside as I can. As a result, our home is suffering because I no longer spend my entire Saturday's cleaning. I guess the dirty floors and overwhelming piles of laundry are worth it, since the summer months never last as long as the cold winter months do.
....and there you have it. The shamelessly boring details of the shameless Bo's. Whoop-dee Freakin' Doo!
