Girls Just Wanna Have Fun

So last weekend I had a busy, but fun-filled Saturday with some of my favorite people. The day started off with a baby shower for a dear friend of Mr. Bo and I. Of course there was plenty of oooooing and awwwing at all the great gifts for Amanda and baby "peanut," and it was also a great time to catch up with friends who I do not get to see near as much as I would like. It was also a great time for kicking my biological clock into overdrive.
I was, however, able to suppress my maternal urges long enough to enjoy the second half of my fun filled day, at the Ameristar Casino Resort and Spa, where my friend Cortney and I joined a fine group of gals for a bachelorette party in honor of Adi-licious. There was more than enough 'licious going around that night, starting with a D-E-licious dinner at Amerisports Bar and Grill.  After that we ventured on over to Bottleneck Blues where we were literally sweating to the oldies. They had a great 80's cover band, which was enough to turn us into a bunch of dancing queens.....or maybe more like dancing fools. If you've never seen me dance to "Footloose," let me be the first to tell you...it's quite the spectacle. At around 1:30 a.m. Cortney and I headed back to the sports bar to satisfy our late night cravings before heading back to our room. The party ended the next morning with a breakfast that came way too early for this late sleeper.  I can hardly wait for the Adi-licious wedding on March 4th.
